Kenilworth Town FC get the cup by a Hare's whisker at Coventry!
Sporting Leagues Event: 11/08/07, Brandon Greyhound Stadium.
Kenilworth Town FC receives the now presitgous Sporting Leagues trophy from Sarah-Jayne, the track organiser. It all came down to the last race on the night with a close 1 point margin for the winners! A tense last race saw Kenilworth Town's greyhound win the final GSL race with trap 4 (Nuneaton Griff) closely coming in second giving Kenilworth the overall victory.
Norman Stevens, secretary for Kenilworth Town FC said "We have raised over 300 pounds for the club and had an excellent night. I would reccomend all clubs to at least give the scheme a try, we did and we got our rewards."
