Taking part in the GSL at Oxford has helped one club get itself off the ground in the Oxford Sunday League.
Yellow Eagles FC is the brainchild of Simon Hill and after organising 15 friendlies during the summer for his new team he was desperate for new ways to raise money for the club.
With 25 registered players for the new season the group was delighted to be invited to a GSL night as Simon confirms, ' The lad were champing at the bit for this one. It was a great way to round off pre-season and with the prospect of £500 to get us through our first seaon it was too good an offer to turn down.'
