KANSAS CITY (October 21, 2019) --- Sporting KC Youth Soccer has announced the expansion of the Sporting Recreation League following the recent success of its fall 2019 launch at the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex. Coming spring 2020, Sporting Recreation League will expand to Wyandotte Sporting Fields in Kansas City, Kansas. Each location will operate independently from one another to ensure all participants' practices and games at held at the same facility. For example, if you register for the league in Olathe, all practices and games will be held at the Olathe facility.
The Sporting Recreation League is designed for youth soccer players of all skill levels, offering a high-quality and fun soccer experience with an emphasis on sportsmanship and developing a passion for the game.

The Sporting Recreation League spring season will kick off the last week of March or first week of April (based on location). All teams will be coached by parent or guardian volunteers. Sporting KC Youth Soccer will support and educate each coach by providing weekly training sessions and hosting coaching education clinics.
